A case study of how to use Gentoo Linux in a large scale educational system. The talk will include a short presentation of some of the challenges in a large scale educational system, why we chose a source based distribution and how we are handling these challenges using a mix of existing tools and a thin scripting layer build on top of Gentoo Linux.
